3) Is the Camdoku etching cream and the liquid one is permanent?
Yes, camdoku etching cream and camdoku etching liquid erode the top surface of glass and making it permanent. Once the glass surface is etched, it can not be removed.
4) What kind of glass can I etch with camdoku etching cream ?
You can etch your flat glasses, colorful glasses, houshold glassware,mirrors,windows, glass doors,picture frames and more..
5) What kind of glass can I etch with dip liquid?
You can etched all kind of glasses. We recommend you to use etching liquid for mass production. You should always cover the area where you do not want etched otherwise once the surface of glass is etched, it can not be removed.
6) Can I temper the etched glass?
Yes, you can temper the etched glass and etched the temper glass as well.
7) Does your product only effective on glass?
No, our products are also effective on slate,porcelain,marble,ceramic and mirror as well.
8) What is the depth of erosion ?
The erosion”s depth is between 20-25 micron.
9) What is the difference between camdoku etching cream and dip liquid?
Camdoku etching cream”s consistency is intensive but the dip liquid is like a water”s consistency
10) Is your product reusable?
Yes, when you finish the process of etching, put the rest of the ething cream in to the original box. We recommend you to stir the cream after putting the rest into the box.Our products can be used many times.
11) Is it safe to use etching cream or dip liquid?
It has no disadvantages of human health.It may cause irritation on skin. Please avoid contact with eyes.
12) Is the material toxic?
Our products are absolutely harmless, non toxic and do not contain and evaporate hydrofluoric acid.
13) Can I paint on the etched surfaces?
Yes, etched surface”s texture is easier to holding the paint on the glass. It increases the paint”s permanence up to %80
14) Can the surface of glass can pick up fingerprints or any stain?
We guarenteed that our products give such a smooth satin finished surface. For that reason, the surface of the glass can not pick up fingerprints.In Europe, people etch the glass with sandblast method. Then they use the etching cream in order to finish the product. Because it avoids fingerprints on the glass. One of the most important feature of etching cream is hygienic and never let any fingerprints on the glass.
15) Is it safe to eat or drink from etched glass?
Yes, it is safe. Once you etch the glass, wash throughly it is safe to eat or drink from.
16) Can I put the etched glass inside the dishwasher?
Yes you can. Our products are dishwasher safe and can not be removed after the dishwasher. Because etching cream in permanent on the glass.
